I started the second of four children, to a single mother in New Mexico. We grew up in poverty but that hasn't stopped me from dreaming big. I graduated valedictorian of my high-school (a tiny charter school) and went on to Tufts University to study Biology and Public Health. I then took a break from school and struggled with mental health, but that didn't stop me from returning to get my Master of Social Work, which has lead me to being a therapist. I work currently as an in-home therapist, working with youth, and I intend to return to my community in Massachusetts after my presidential term.
