A Platform for Security, Dignity, and Opportunity

Leadership that brings people together to protect, provide, and renew

Early life

I'm Samantha Nguyen. I was raised in a family that taught me to respect every person, work hard, and give back. Those values shaped my belief that government must protect people's safety, preserve dignity, and open doors of opportunity.

Education

I studied policy and data-driven decision making and have spent my career using evidence to solve real problems. I believe facts, transparency, and listening to people lead to better outcomes for everyone.

Backstory

I started the second of four children, to a single mother in New Mexico. We grew up in poverty but that hasn't stopped me from dreaming big. I graduated valedictorian of my high-school (a tiny charter school) and went on to Tufts University to study Biology and Public Health. I then took a break from school and struggled with mental health, but that didn't stop me from returning to get my Master of Social Work, which has lead me to being a therapist. I work currently as an in-home therapist, working with youth, and I intend to return to my community in Massachusetts after my presidential term.

Values

I will lead with humility, evidence, and a commitment to results. Our campaign is about building a safer country, ensuring dignity for every person, expanding opportunity to thrive, and renewing our democracy — together.
